WORKING ON THE FARM
Working with animals can be rewarding but on a working farm it is alot of work. Its HOT in the summer time and COLD in the winter and if it is raining we still have to take care of the animals so we get wet. There also is alot of heavy lifting, feed bags are 50lbs! We go thru lots of feed! Stalls have to be mucked out and waters have to be cleaned and scrubbed out with bleach. Pushing a full wheelbarrel is a daily event. Animals we have on the ranch and care for daily are cattle, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats & a retired show horse.
